BACKGROUND
HAN WEE is experienced in working with individuals, teenagers, family and couples in various mental health related issues, such as, emotional distress, grief and bereavement, parenting, marital etc. One of her focus areas is Employee Assistance Program (EAP) support. As an EAP consultant, he has gained valuable experience working with a whole range of corporate clients in providing training and EAP support such as crisis intervention, change and transition support etc.
HAN WEE has obtained several counselling related trainings, e.g. Solution Focus Therapy, Positive Psychology, Grief & Loss Counselling, Addiction & Family Counselling, Creative Counseling Techniques, Expressive Art Therapy, Group Counseling, Clinical Supervision etc. and he is also a certified Neurosky Brain-Computer-Interface (BCI) Instructor. He current therapy approaches are Solution Focus Therapy and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) He is also integrating other approaches such as Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, Art Expressive, Metaphoric Card, Neurofeedback into his practice.
HAN WEE is also a clinical supervisor who obtained certificate from Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia. He is actively involved in providing clinical supervision to registered counsellors, trainee counsellors as well as para-counsellors.
SERVICES IN VARIOUS SETTING
HAN WEE has worked with a whole range of corporate, colleges and universities, and public clients in the areas of counseling, training, consultation, and EAP support (including Crisis intervention, change, and transition support, etc.). Some of his corporate clients are Petronas, Cognizant, PayPal, Citibank, HSBC Bank, PwC, Telekom Malaysia, Prudential Insurance, Caring Pharmacy, etc.
He volunteers actively in various non-profit organizations by giving mental health-related talks and providing counseling services. He is currently the Technical Adviser for Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia (YBAM) Buddhist Career Workshop Unit.
